Since its foundation over a century ago, in 1896, ANA is empowering, stimulating, and promoting the professional development of nurses at the forefront.
ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting a safe and ethical work environment, bolstering the health and wellness of nurses, and advocating on health care issues that affect nurses and the public.
ANA and WCEA will work together to assist in the continuing education development for nurses in low and middle-income countries.
