Description: Nursing is evolving and leaders are faced with many challenges, leadership is essential to ensure quality nursing is provided.

The speaker will address the key essential skills required to be able to adapt to the changes.

Objectives: Participants will be able to:

1. Identify the key leadership skills
2. Importance of emotional intelligence in nurse leaders
3. How to sustain sound leadership

Speaker: Ms. Nombulelo Esme Zenani (Masters in Nursing Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Service and Nursing management, Ph.D. Candidate research focuses on developing an interprofessional training) program for ICU nurses in South Africa

Ms. Zenani is a lecturer at the northwest university and has experience in Nursing education as a nurse educator and learning development consultant. She also has extensive experience in Nursing management roles in both public and private hospitals.

Currently, Ms. Zenani has 3 articles in review, acts as a reviewer in an accredited journal & supervises Master’s nursing students.
