Speaker: Dr Dan Bwonya
Dr. Dan is an Eyecare Consultant doctor (Ophthalmologist). He has been practicing clinical ophthalmology since 2006. Specialized in Cataract surgery, Glaucoma management, Vitreoretinal surgery, and public health for eye care.
A fellow of the European vitreoretinal society (EVRS)and International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) and a member of the African Vitreoretinal Society and Uganda Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Dan received medical training from Mbarara university for MBChB and M.Med Ophthalmology. M.Sc. Public health for eye care from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Fellowship training from European Vitreoretinal school and Retinal foundation, ICO Centre Ahmedabad, India.
Currently works with Mengo Hospital Eye Department, Kampala Uganda.
